- What are some historical battle strategies that proved to be key steps to victory?
Exodus 17:8-16 describes an important victory Israel had over the Amalekites.
- Who was selected to lead the people of Israel into battle (hint: it was not Moses)?
- What was Moses tasked with doing while Israel was in battle?
- Do you think someone in the position of Moses might ever feel sidelined in this position?
- In Joshua 6, God gives Joshua some unique battle plans, but given what Joshua had already experienced in God's victories, how should Joshua have reacted to God's battle plan?
