Objectives
- By the end of the activity everyone in the class will be able to recite Romans 5:8 from memory.
Scripture Memory
- Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- Counting the reference there are 20 words in the verse. Depending on how many students in the classroom you may need to adjust the activity.
- Have the students stand in a circle around the room. Each position in the room is assigned one word from the verse. If you have less than 20 people then you just keep going around the circle until all the words are used.
- Have each person say there word in order until the verse has been said. It may help to have a poster with the verse written.
- After the verse has been recited the circle should rotate one person to the right. Thi should be done several times so that everyone has a chance to hear and say the verse.
