The Background
In this lesson series we will be looking at the crossing of the Jordan river. However, before we look at the crossing, it will be helpful to remember some previous events.
- What event is described in Deuteronomy 1:19-33?
- What is the result of the people's decision according to Deuteronomy 1:34-46?
Puzzle
- Try and solve the following puzzle.
You must transfer Joshua, his wife, a priest, the Ark of the covenant, a female Israelite and a male Israelite. across the Jordan river respecting the following rules:
You have a small raft that can carry no more than 2 people or one person and the Ark of the Covenant. Only Joshua, and the priest can operate the ferry. The Ark can not be alone with any of the Israelites w/out the priest.
